"Kane the Gunslinger" at Stowe Story Labs
We will return to your regularly scheduled programming after this message.
I’m taking this week off from Highly Transmissible to (virtually) attend the 2020 Stowe Narrative Lab, where my feature screenplay KANE THE GUNSLINGER is an official selection. I’ve included the log-line and some concept art for the screenplay below, and you can learn more about the project on my website. The newsletter will return next week, just in time for Halloween and the election!
AFTER BREAKING OUT OF A DEEP SPACE PRISON, A VIOLENT CRIMINAL IS CONFRONTED BY A COSMIC BEING WHO CHALLENGES HIM TO SAVE HIS DISTANT ANCESTOR — A YOUNG APACHE GIRL — IN PURSUIT OF LOST GOLD IN THE OLD AMERICAN WEST.
Kane the Gunslinger won the 2020 Big Apple Film Festival, was a quarterfinalist for the Screencraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy award, a finalist for the Filmmatic Inroads Fellowship and was accepted to the 2020 Stowe Story Labs.
